Variety confirmed that "The Amazing Spider-Man" sequel will be directed by Marc Webb.
Andrew Garfield will play again Peter Parker/ Spiderman's character and Emma Stone will be Gwen Stacy. Marc Webb will direct once more the Marvel's character and Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci ("Star Trek", "Cowboys & Aliens") will write the script. Filming will begin early next year and the film will be released on May 2, 2014.
