Aerosmith gave a fabulous concert last night at Karaiskaki stadium in Athens. The crowd filled
the whole area and the screams were heard all ober Athens. This concert was one of the most expected this year in Athens. And to be honest the Greek crowd was not certain that this concert would take place since there were a lot of rumors that the front man Steve Tyler quit the band and was dedicated in his solo carrer. Especially the last couple of months all the blogs were talking about Aerosmith's break up and until the last moment everyone was expecting to hear that the concert was cancelled. But this did not happen at all.
Steven Tyler walked on stage holding the Greek flag and waving it while the people were singing and wanting more.. This meant a lot to the Greek crowd since the financial crisis created a lack of happiness and optimism to all the Greeks and they sure wanted someone to give them courage and a reason to believe that a better day will come tomorrow… And Aerosmith with their way of behaving showed that they are next to the Greeks and they understand the situation that the whole country is in.
Greek people are very fond of Aerosmith. Though Greece is a very small market many cds of the band were sold during the last years. Unlike Rihanna they stayed almost 2 hours on stage and they left us with thw best impressions. Thank you Aerosmith.
