Last night at Terra Vive Park, the first show of Rockwave Festival was effected by the world cup game between Spain and Germany, that is why there was less people than expected. The last time i went as
a reporter for athensbars.gr on a concert was for Bob Dylan, and i can defiantly say that the peoples proportion was bigger than yesterday, although the artists that came were very beloved by Greeks.. Now to start about the concert, Faithless came out for just an hour but surely impressed the most. Just before nightfall they ended their show. And then, the Black Eyed Peas came on stage… That was when people started to come closer to the stage.. You see, Black Eyed Peas have never come to Greece before so it was the attraction of the night. The comedy part of the show was the the crowd became ballistic when Will.I.am. started to mix in the decks some old Nirvana and Gun's and Roses songs, and we comedy because the crowd was more enthusiastic in this part rather than their own songs. What needs to be noticed is that this year the rockwave festival lost its "rock" side as more pop-rnb artists were entered.
