Reform και π ενώνουν τις δυνάμεις τους και παρουσιάζουν το π07 με καλεσμένο τον Aμερικάνο DJ και παραγωγό Function. Ο Function είναι αδιαμφισβήτητα θρυλική φιγούρα της σύγχρονης techno σκηνής. Με είκοσι χρόνια παρουσίας στο χώρο, αποτελεί ιδρυτικό μέλος των Sandwell District, resident του Βερολινέζικου Berghain Club και καλλιτέχνη της γνωστής δισκογραφικής OstGut Ton.
Ο Νεοϋορκέζος Dave Summers εμπνεύστηκε από τον Jeff Mills και ξεκίνησε να γράφει την δικιά του μουσική στα μέσα των ‘90s, κυκλοφορώντας την αρχικά στην Synewave και στη συνέχεια στην δική του Infrastructure. Κυκλοφόρησε επίσης μουσική ως Portion Reform (μαζί με τον Regis) στην Downwards αλλά και στην OstGut Ton. Το 2007 μετακομισε στο Βερολίνο και, πάλι μαζί με τον Regis, έστησαν την επιτυχημένη Sandwell District. Απο το 2013 και μετά που αποχώρησε από την εταιρεία είναι resident του Berghain.

The seventh episode of the π series comes as a collaboration between Reform and π, hosting the American dj and producer ‘Function’. Dave Summers is an undoubtedly legendary figure of the scene. He is a founding member of the Sandwell District collective, Berghain resident, Ostgut recording artist and owner of Infrastructure New York. The event will take place at 6DOGS on Saturday the 4th of April

Function [Sandwell District, Ostgut Ton]
Hailing from New York, he was seduced by techno music when Jeff Mills held a residency (as well as his own) at the Limelight in the early 90s. Dave started to produce music and from the mid-90s onwards, put out music on Damon Wild’s Synewave and his own Infrastructure imprint. Together with Karl O’Connor (aka Regis) he worked as Portion Reform, putting out uncompromising music on Downwards and becoming the only non-Birmingham producer to release on the label. In late 2007 Dave moved to Berlin and, still working with O’Connor, set up the acclaimed Sandwell District imprint which soon developing a cult following and forcing the hand of change within electronic music – with 2010’s album, Feed Forward, being a particular highlight. In 2013 he spilt from Sandwell District becoming a Berghain resident and Ostgut Ton recording artist, releasing the seminal album, Incubation.

Konaktor [Modal Analysis, Further]
Kondaktor has been crafting the decks for almost a decade establishing himself as a prominent figure in the Athenian party scene. His dj sets vary: from deeply techno to sleazy, dirty and funky; from comfortably dark and ambient to uncomfortably sensual and grimmy. He enjoys mixing different styles and trying different sounds each time: from industrial techno to chicago house and back. In the record label that he co-owns, “Modal Analysis”, the releases are a blend of modern techno with experimental approach in order to promote the new sophisticated sound coming from Greece. The label’s gloomy aesthetic examines the structural impact of sound within space. In the end of 2012 he made his debut release as a music producer with a cassette at the Seattle based Further Records under the alias of Kondaktor: the maestro that controls the musician’s performance and manipulates the feelings of the crowds. Kondaktor’s distorted approach enhance a mix of experimental tonalities that resemble those coming from a concrete mysterious setting, with electroacoustic influences, build in a low-fi aesthetic. In actual spaces, he has been organizing the “Reform” party series in Athens along with fellow DJs and he has recorded vocals for several different projects.

3.14 [CLFT, Modal Analysis]
3.14 is the alias project by one of the co-founders ofModal Analysis record label. Born and raised in Athens, he is currently based in Berlin, where he lives and works for the music industry. The man under the code-name 3.14 is a dj, record label owner and a producer enthusiast. His aesthetic can vary from Techno, to deep, industrial and acid, blending over-produced and classic analog textures. He can also be found playing ambient/experimental sets.
