Και ήρθε και η ώρα για τις Χρυσές Σφαίρες του 2014.
Οι Tina Fey και Amy Poehler ξεκαρδιστικές για ακόμα μια φορά. Οι ξεκαρδιστικότερες στιγμές της εισαγωγής τους, όταν περιέγραψαν το «Gravity» ως τη ταινία που ο George Clooney θα προτιμούσε να πεθάνει απ’ τον να σταθεί δίπλα σε γυναίκα της ηλικίας του, και όταν για την υποψηφιότητα της Poehler έδειξαν πλάνο της Lawrence στο κοινό την οποία παρουσίασαν ως Amy. Η Jennifer ήταν που κέρδισε και τη πρώτη σφαίρα για τον ρόλο της στο «American Hustle».

Ο Robert Downey jr. τράβηξε τη προσοχή όπως πάντα με την παρουσίαση του για τις υποψήφιες ηθοποιούς Α’ γυναικείου σε κωμωδία ή μιούζικαλ, ενώ η Amy Adams που κέρδισε το βραβείο για το «American Hustle» παρέδωσε ένα συγκινητικό λόγο.
Οι παρουσιάστριες συνέχισαν με άλλο ένα ξεκαρδιστικό σκετς όπου η Tina παρουσίασε ως τον mr. Golden Globe τον “γιο” της, που ενσάρκωσε η Amy, που έψαχνε απεγνωσμένα στο διάσημο κοινό για τον πατέρα της. Ενώ στη συνέχεια ο Jared Leto που κέρδισε για τον ρόλο του «Dallas Buyers Club» ξεκαθάρισε πως ο πισινός στη ταινία είναι ολόδικος του.
H Emma Thompson πάντως, με μπόλικη δόση χιούμορ, για να απονείμει το βραβείο καλύτερου σεναρίου, εμφανίστηκε με τα παπούτσια στο χέρι και ένα μαρτίνι στο χέρι, μιας και εκείνη τυγχάνει σεναριογράφος μεταξύ άλλων.
Η έκπληξη της βραδιάς στη κατηγορία ξενόγλωσσου φιλμ το «Great Beauty» κλέβει τη Σφαίρα απ’ το «Blue is the Warmest Color», που φέτος είναι το φαβορί για όποιο βραβείο αυτής της κατηγορίας. Αλλά και χωρίς το «Blue» υπήρχαν σοβαρότεροι υποψήφιοι, ποιος ξέρει τι στο καλό σκεφτόντουσαν οι κριτές…
